What Pluga is
Pluga is a directory that helps you discover local businesses. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a business you find here. Any deal, purchase, or service arrangement is strictly between you and the business.
Listings and reviews
We moderate listings and reviews before they appear, but Pluga does not guarantee the quality of any business's work. Use reviews, badges, and your own judgement together.
What verified means
Verified by Pluga means we confirmed the business phone number and location. It is not an endorsement and not a guarantee of quality.
Plans and paid placement
Listing on Pluga is free. Pro (₦2,500 a month) and Featured (₦7,500 a month) give your listing priority placement, and Featured also puts you on the homepage. Paid placement is a paid promotion, not an endorsement, and it never changes the reviews or rating on a listing. The verified badge is not for sale: we only give it after we check a business ourselves.
Plans are billed monthly by Paystack and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your business dashboard, and your placement runs to the end of the month you already paid for. Your listing page stays live on Pluga after a plan ends. New listings go live after our admin review, usually within about 24 hours.
Claiming a business
You can claim a listing if you own or run that business. We confirm claims by contacting the business on the number already shown on its listing, then send an access code there. Keep that code private: anyone with it can see your listing statistics and manage your plan. Tell us straight away if you lose it.
Refunds
If we decline to publish your listing, we refund your first month in full. Simple as that.
Acceptable use
- No fake reviews, whether for your own business or against a competitor.
- No impersonating another person or business.
- No unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.
We may remove content or listings that break these rules, and we may decline submissions that do not meet our standards.
