We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to run Pluga, and we never sell your personal information. Here is exactly what happens with your data.

What we collect

• Search and usage analytics: what people search for and which listings get clicked. This helps us make discovery better.
• Review details: when you leave a review we ask for your name and a phone number or email. The contact detail is used only to verify your review is genuine, it is never displayed publicly.
• Business submissions: business and contact details you provide when listing a business.
• Payment records: payments and monthly plans are handled by Paystack. We keep a record of the transaction, but we never see or store your card numbers.

How we use it

To show listings and reviews, verify that reviews come from real people, process business submissions and featured payments, respond to reports, and understand how people use the site so we can improve it. That is it.

Cookies

Admins get a session cookie so they can log in and moderate content: regular visitors do not need one. We also use analytics to understand site usage.

Third parties we work with

• Paystack processes payments and monthly plans securely.
• Bunny CDN hosts and delivers listing images.
• Analytics tools help us see aggregate usage patterns.
